Life of Mr Amos O'garro

A TIME TO BORN

On Thursday 30th June 1960 a beautiful baby boy name Amos Iziah O'Garro was born in Chateaublair St. Vincent and the Grenadines to parents Icelyn (Deceased) and Kenneth Hall; he is the second child of eight children.

A TIME TO LEARN

Amos Attended the Chateaublair Methodist School from 1965 until 1974 after successfully competing his primary school education by passing the school leaving examinations. He joined the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Cadet Corp shortly afterwards where he learned to play music, among the many instruments he learned to play the tuba was his favorite.

A TIME TO WORK

In 1980 Amos O'Garro PC 13 underwent training at the Regional Police Training Centre in Barbados; upon competing his training he served the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force/Police Band for ten years.

In the year 1990 Amos O'Garro migrated to the Turks and Caicos Islands where he was initiated into the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force and commenced his duties in the capacity of airport security up to 1994, he then move to the department of Beat and Patrol for the next two years and in 1996 became one of the Prosecutors. Throughout his many years as a Prosecutor he devoted most of his time learning the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands as well as the Bahamas.

His extensive knowledge also lead him to become attached to the Bahamas Police Training College in Nassau Bahamas in 2004 where he was one of the most respected recruitment and training officer on the force until 2010, he then returned to the Turks and Caicos Islands to become the senior instructor for the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Training School in Grand Turk until 2012.

A TIME TO LOVE

In 1977 a 17 year old Amos met the beautiful Hazel Bailey while attending the New Testament Church of God in Lodge Village, Kingstown, St. Vincent. Amos and Hazel become fast friends and in 1978 Amos welcomed his first daughter Petroann O'Garro from a previous relationship. He perused a relationship with Hazel and in 1980 Amos and Hazel had a bouncing baby girl Mishka O'Garro.

Shortly thereafter, on 8th September 1984 Hazel and Amos were joined together in holy matrimony at New Testament Church of God, Paul's Avenue, Kingstown, St. Vincent; and they enjoyed a blessed and succes7arriaged for the past 32 years.

A TIME TO PLAY

Among the many Sports that Amos played, tennis was one of his favorite of which he was an avid player and played up to two weeks prior to his death with friend Dexter O'Neil. He was also a very strategic thinker and was a master at cards and dominoes which he took great pleasure in playing daily with cohorts like SPRING, SHEM Clarke, SUTTON and others in Provo, while home in St. Vincent as he loved fresh fruits, ground foods and raising livestock he considered this to be a hobby.


A TIME TO LAUGH

Amos was very humorous and when coming home to his wife, he would walk in the house look left, then right and would shout Tashooo!!, when she answered he would go to her and laugh hahahaha with that big smile of he whether she liked it or not that was his way of greeting her. Although not always there in person he would spend lots of time with his children and later his grandchildren, he had a very special bond with his younger daughter Mishka with which he would spend hours on the phone with just chatting, she always kept him up with all the next technology and the newest colognes. Face-time became their latest form of chatting and he would often show his friends his little (grown) girl.

A TIME TO MOURN.

On Monday 10th 2016 Amos started experiencing some faint feelings.

Tuesday October 11th 2016 still having the same faint feeling he visited his private doctor; he was immediately referred to Cheshire Hall Medical Centre where he was further examined and admitted for observation.

In the wee hours of Wednesday October 12th 2016 Amos went to the with the Lord.
